The house offers four bedrooms, divided over the first and second floors, two on each level. Rooms are spacious, calm and detailed with carved wood and coral stone.
Each room includes ensuite bathroom, traditional Lamu four-poster bed, mosquito nets, dressing table and ceiling fan.
The Bedrooms
All bathrooms are private and thoughtfully finished, offering comfort and simplicity in keeping with the house’s character.
Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, allowing you to settle in without distraction.
At the heart of the house lies the courtyard, shaded and calm. A large dining table welcomes up to eight guests, made for long breakfasts and slow dinners.
On the rooftop, a second dining table offers views over Shela.

The kitchen is fully equipped for easy island living with a cooker, fridge, freezer and all other kitchen utensils.
Whether you prefer to cook yourself or leave it to others, the house adapts to your rhythm.
Breakfast can be arranged for an extra fee, and a private chef can be booked to prepare fresh meals in the comfort of the house — from long lunches to candlelight dinners in the courtyard.

Rates are for the whole house and per night, for a maximum of 8 guests. Prices don’t include transfers, breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Low season (February - June): €165 per night
Mid Season (July - November): €175 per night
High season (December - January): €195 per night
Christmas season (21 December - 5 January): €225 per night
Long term rentals are also available on request.

Breakfast and dinner are not included as standard.
However, both can be prepared for you upon request. Mornings begin gently with fresh, local flavours, and in the evening dinner can be served in the courtyard. Simply let us know in advance. -
The ocean is just 150 metres away.
A short walk through Shela’s narrow sandy lanes brings you to the beach within minutes. -
Transfers can be arranged for you. We will organise a boat to collect you from Manda Airport and bring you to Shela.
Whether you arrange your own transfer or travel with ours, once you arrive in Shela we will be there to welcome you, help with your luggage, and guide you through the village to the house.

Both bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily, so you can return to a calm and comfortable space.
